Alert Notifications

Allen East uses SchoolMessenger for text alerts.

Parents/Guardians: You will automatically be added to the General/Delays list and will be notified through voice and email alerts based on information in our Student Information System.  If you want to receive text messages from this new system, it does require an opt-in process on YOUR part.  Text Yes to 67587.    Additional lists, such as the Athletics and/or Extracurricular lists can be subscribed to through SchoolMessenger.

Parent Guide for classroom level messaging: (GUIDE). Parents/Guardians, please view the guide for sign-up instructions on how to receive communications from teachers.  Page 4 is where to begin the process of getting the App. Page 5 has the website you use to sign-up.  You will not need a code to join a teacher's list since your account is automatically joined.  Make sure to use the email address that was used to complete your student medical forms.

General Public (grandparents, aunts/uncles, community members, etc.):  You will not automatically be signed up for alerts and will need to sign up through SchoolMessenger.  Subscribe to the General/Delays, Athletics, and/or Extracurricular lists through SchoolMessenger.

Staff:  You will automatically be added to the staff list,  but if you want to receive text messages from this new system, it does require an opt-in process on YOUR part.  Text Yes to 67587 to opt-in to text alerts. The Athletics and/or Extracurricular and general/delays lists can be subscribed to through SchoolMessenger.
