John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Essay contest. Students in grade 9-12 can partcipate for the chance to win $10,000 in scholarship money. Deadline is January 5, 2015 visit the contest website at jfklibrary.org

Any senior that want to listen to the representative from GROB group in Bluffton can sign up in the guidance office. The meeeting is October 16
Any senior girl that wants to participate in the Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizens program can stop in the guidance office for more details. Students are required to write an essay and attend a luncheon on November 15, 2014. They receive a pin and certificate at the awards ceremony. If chosen the best essay in Allen County, the chapter will forward to be considered for a $500 scholarship.
Distinguished Young Women program deadline is October 3, 2014

Any sophomore or junior interested in taking the PSAT test on October 15 should stop in the guidance office for details. The cost of the exam is $14 deadline to register and pay is October 3rd.
